As angled radiator valves too, their shape makes them best suited to units attached to pipework that comes through the wall, but they can also be used with floor-based piping as long as the radiator has inlets located on its sides.

Thanks to their thermostatic build, these valves automatically regulate the amount of hot water that enters the radiator. When your desired temperature setting is reached, the valves will limit the amount of water flowing in. Once the room starts to cool again, the valve will allow more hot water in to bring the temperature back up. This process removes the need for manual adjustment and maximises the radiator's efficiency, using only the necessary amount of hot water to maintain your chosen temperature.
