The cylindrical spout that comprises this wall mounted basin tap, which measures 28mm in diameter and 197mm in its projection, curves downward at its open end such that its stream is directed into the basin beneath it, mitigating the chance of any splashback. On the underside of the spout is its infrared sensor, which is triggered whenever your place your hands underneath it such that tap water flows directly into your hands, preemptively moistening them for handwashing or any other toiletry task.
