Add the JTP 600W Matt Black Electric Thermostat Heating Element to your bathroom’s heating system. It slots easily into the base of your radiator or heated towel rail to control its temperature.
Using the control panel and LED display on the base of the element, the user can set a constant temperature from between 30 °C to 70 °C in easy 5 °C intervals. There is also a boost feature which lasts for either 2 or 4 hours. The built-in protective shutdown feature turns the entire system off automatically if the temperature reaches 120 °C or -25 °C to prevent overheating and freezing, giving you extra peace of mind.
The element is used to make the bathroom’s heating system dual fuel. This means your heated towel rail for example can operate from both the central heating system and electricity supply, so it can be used all year round, even when the heating is turned off during the summer months. This requires an additional t-piece to work alongside a choice of radiator valves, or alternatively dual fuel valves (all sold separately), which does not require a t-piece.
The smart black finish on the control panel enables it to be matched with a similar coloured radiator to maintain a coordinated look, while the 600W of power this heating element provides is ideal for use in larger radiators and bathrooms.
