Control the heating in your bathroom with the JTP 600W Chrome Electric Thermostat Heating Element.
This versatile component slots straight into the bottom of your bathroom radiator or heated towel rail. Using the control panel and LED display at its base, the thermostat can be easily set to a constant temperature between 30°C and 70°C. The boost function allows it to generate extra heat for either a 2 or 4 hour period. The thermostat also has a built in safety shutdown feature that automatically switches the element into an error mode if it reaches 120°C or -25°C preventing damage from extreme temperatures.
The heating element can also convert your existing bathroom radiator or towel rail into dual fuel, meaning it can work from both the central heating system and electricity supply. This comes in particularly useful during the summer when the central heating system is switched off. To activate it requires either an additional T-piece for use with ordinary radiator valves (both not included - sold separately), or dual fuel valves that can be used without a t-piece (see required products).
The element operates at 600W, making it ideal for larger radiators and bathrooms. It is completed with a polished chrome finish and can be matched with similar coloured appliances for a coordinated look.
- Please Note: Excludes T-Piece, which must be purchased separately for use with ordinary radiator valves for dual fuel operation. JTP dual fuel radiator valves can be purchased for use without need of a t-piece (see required products)
