The JTP 400W Matt Black Heating Element and T-Piece helps to convert a heated towel rail, which is operated by your central heating system, to dual fuel usage so it can be used all year round.
The addition of a heating element and t-piece means that users can operate bathroom radiators and rails through a central heating or electrical system. This is ideal during the summer when central heating is often switched off, so this system helps to avoid higher bills and increases heat efficiency in your home.
The 400W element connects the bottom of your radiator with a wired connection to an electric supply, while the t-piece attaches it and your chosen radiator valves to the radiator.
Measuring 470mm, it has a built-in thermostat inside the element which reaches a maximum temperature of 70 degrees celsius, making it suitable for medium sized radiators and bathrooms.
The bottom of the element has a sleek matt black finish, ideal for matching with black radiators and other fixtures, so it fits in seamlessly with your bathroom’s aesthetics.
