Buy the JTP 400W Matt Black Electric Thermostat Heating Element to control the temperature of your bathroom heating system.
The 400W element is built to fit easily into the bottom of your JTP radiator. This is controlled by the buttons and LED display found at the base, which enables you to set the temperature in 5 °C increments between 30°C to 70°C. The built-in boost feature can be set to either 2 or 4 hours for extra warmth. To give you extra piece of mind the element has a protective shutdown system which activates when it reaches 120°C or -25°C to prevent overheating or minimise damage from extreme cold temperatures.
The heating element can convert a heated towel rail into a dual fuel outlet, meaning it can work from the central heating system or electric supply. This is useful during the summer months when the central heating system is likely to be switched off with the element combining with a t-piece (not included - needs to be purchased separately) and radiator valves to enable easy switching between the two. Alternatively, pair with dual fuel valves which can be used standalone without need for a t-piece.
The control panel has a smart matt black finish which can be matched with a black radiator for a coordinated look. The 400W power of this heating element makes it ideal to be used with medium sized radiators and bathrooms.
