The JTP 400W Chrome Electric Thermostat Heating Element simply slots into the bottom of your bathroom radiator or heated towel rail and controls its temperature.
Using the control panel and LED display, a constant desired temperature in 5 °C intervals between 30°C and 70°C can be set. The boost function can be set for either 2 or 4 hours, if required. The element also has a built-in safety feature which closes down the entire system if the temperature reaches 120°C or -25°C, to prevent overheating and extreme temperature damage.
This heating element can also convert your system into a dual fuel one. This means a heated towel rail, for example, can operate from both the central heating system and electricity supply for all year round use, even when the central heating is switched off during the summer months. The element will require a t-piece alongside the chosen radiator valves for operation (both sold separately), or alternatively dual fuel valves can be used without need for a t-piece (see required products).
The shiny polished chrome finish allows the element to be matched with similar coloured radiators, so it blends in and completes a matching look. Operating at 400W, this heating element is ideal for use in medium sized radiators and bathrooms.
- Please Note: Excludes T-Piece, which must be purchased separately for use with ordinary radiator valves for dual fuel operation. JTP dual fuel radiator valves can be purchased for use without need of a t-piece (see required products)
