The 400W Brushed Brass Electric Thermostat Element from JTP is the ideal heat control solution for your bathroom.
It simply slots into the bottom of your radiator, and - using the control panel and LED display at its base - a desired temperature can be set between 30 °C and 70°C in 5°C increments. If extra warmth is required, simply add the boost function for either two or four hours. The heating element also has a built in automatic shutdown feature which turns the entire system off if temperature reaches 120 °C or -25 °C to prevent overheating or damage due to extreme temperatures for peace of mind.
This device converts a bathroom radiator or heated towel rail into dual fuel, which means it can work from both the central heating system or electricity supply. This is useful during the summer months when the central heating is turned off. To do this you require an additional T-piece to use alongside ordinary radiator valves, or dual fuel valves that excludes the need for a t-piece (all sold separately).
The element is completed with a lovely, brushed brass finish on the control panel, which matches similar coloured radiators for a coordinated look. The 400W of power makes this component perfect for medium sized radiators and bathrooms.
- Please Note: Excludes T-Piece, which must be purchased separately for use with ordinary radiator valves for dual fuel operation. JTP dual fuel radiator valves can be purchased for use without need of a t-piece (see required products)
