The JTP 200W Chrome Electric Thermostat Heating Element is a brilliant addition to any bathroom heating system, as it effectively controls the temperature in your bathroom.
Simply slot it into the bottom of the radiator and use the control pad and LED display to choose the right temperature for you, which can vary between 30 °C and 70 °C in 5 °C intervals. The boost function gives you extra warmth when required and can last for either 2 or 4 hours. The element even has a built-in safety feature which switches off the entire system if the temperature reaches 120°C or -25°C to prevent damage from overheating and extreme temperatures.
Furthermore, the heating element can convert your heated towel rail or bathroom radiator for dual fuel operation, so it can be used from either the central heating system or electricity supply. This is convenient in the summertime when the central heating system is switched off. This requires an additional T-piece alongside the chosen radiator valves being used for the central heating system (both not included and sold separately), or alternatively dual fuel valves (see required products) that excludes the need for a t-piece.
This heating element operates at 200W, making it ideal for smaller radiators and bathrooms. Finished with a shiny chrome finish, so it can be paired with chrome radiators for a matching look.
