The JTP 200W Brushed Brass Electric Thermostat Element is the ideal way to control the temperature of your bathroom.
It easily fits into the bottom of your bathroom radiator or heated towel rail, and - using the control panel and LED display - it can help set a constant temperature ranging from 30°C to 70°C can be set in 5°C increments.
Alternatively, the boost feature can be activated, which lasts for either 2 or 4 hours on a timer when activated. It also comes with a protective safety feature that shuts the whole system down automatically if the temperature reaches 120°C or -25°C to prevent overheating or damage from extreme temperatures.
This heated element helps to convert any central heated system into dual fuel operation, which mean it can work from both this or the electrical supply. This is incredibly useful during the summer months when the central heating is switched off, as this means that it can be used to heat the rail and room without having to waste energy across a space. The element would need a t-piece (required to be purchased separately) to operate alongside ordinary radiator valves, or the purchase of dual fuel valves (see required products) that can operate without need for a t-piece.
The lovely, brushed brass finish on the base of the element enables it to blend seamlessly with a matching coloured radiator to maintain a coordinated look, while the 200W of power makes it ideal for use in smaller radiators and bathrooms.
- Please Note: Excludes T-Piece, which must be purchased separately for use with ordinary radiator valves for dual fuel operation. JTP dual fuel radiator valves can be purchased for use without need of a t-piece (see required products)
