This stylish Crosswater MPRO Sensor Brushed Brass Monobloc Basin Tap offers all the practicality of any single mono basin tap but with the added benefit of touchless infra-red sensor operation.

Simply slide hands underneath the spout to activate the sensor, which in turn releases the flow of water to the temperature preset as and for the length of time required. These elements are adjustable with the temperature being able to be set up to a maximum of 75 degrees celsius, though naturally recommended to be set at a level that is comfortable for all users, while the flow of water can be altered to a length of 1 minute or less. This prevents both the wastage of water and also energy usage by users leaving taps running accidentally, as well as only using enough water required per operation while providing period of stoppage for times like teeth-brushing where water can be left running for long durations. 

The automated infra-red activation also provides the benefit of minimal contact of the brassware by users, reducing the risk of cross-contamination and germs spreading, while it is also vandal resistant if placed in a location where there is heavy user footfall such as commercial environments, although it is equally suitable for residential properties for ordinary use. The sensor detection distance can also be adjusted to anything up to 35cm or less.

Design-wise, the sensor basin tap has a round body and base with a 149mm projection from body to the end of the spout, which curves downwards for an angled flow for usage. The monobloc design means it is only required to be fitted into a single tap hole, and it is deck-mounted fitted to the chosen bathroom sink it is being paired with.

It is suitable for use with 1 bar high pressure systems, and can be installed operated by a choice of mains power, batteries (4 x AA batteries required), or a combination of both depending on personal preference and room location. It is manufactured from quality brass and finished in a PVD-coated matt black modern finish.
