The Crosswater MPRO Sensor Matt Black Deck Mounted Basin Spout is a modern-designed tap that can be installed to mains electric or battery operated, and that can help to save water and energy.

Using infra-red sensor technology, it means that any user only has to slide their hands underneath the sensor basin tap operate the flow of the tap with the temperature set to suit up to a maximum of 75 degrees celsius. The flow of the water can be altered to have an automatic shut-off point of up to 1 minute in length, while the sensor distance can also be altered to be up to or less than 35cm. This combination means that once users have finished using, the water will shut off after a slight time period or it doesn't keep running during use ensuring only water is used that is necessary. The lack of touch also makes this more hygienic without cross-contaminating germs, and also means no operation of controls or levers with wet hands.
