Product Information
Finished in contemporary matt black colour and with numerous beneficial features is this infrared sensor activated Crosswater MPRO Sensor Matt Black 208mm Wall Mounted Basin Spout.
An ideal addition alongside a variety of different basins and sinks, such as countertop basins and inset basins, it has a 208mm long projection from wall to the middle of the spout (220mm to the end) providing a longer reach to be able to reach across ready for use. Smooth, rounded bodied, it is manufactured from sturdy brass and electroplated and powder coated in matt black to finish.
As a sensor basin tap, the primary advantageous feature is that it requires no hand-contact to operate minimising both the risk of germs and contaminants being spread, risk of vandalisation with the vandal resistant design, as well as not having to fiddle with controls and levers with wet hands. Instead, simply put hands underneath the spout within the set distance and the flow of water will begin to wash hands. Alongside this, the settings of the tap are alterable for the comfort of users and also to assist in both water and energy saving.
Firstly, the run time of the wall-mounted basin tap can be set between a maximum of 1 minute or less with an auto shut-off valve turning the flow off at the set time. This means no excessive usage, and the risk of overfilling or people leaving it running and wasting water is stopped when the tap cuts off. Temperature can be altered up to a maximum of 75 degrees celsius, though recommended to be kept at a comfortable level for all users, and the height at which the sensor can be activated is also alterable.
While it is suitable for 1 bar high pressure systems, it can be installed either connected to the mains power supply or with battery operation (requires 4 x AA 1.5v batteries) or both offering a great choice to suit, with the installation also making this a great addition for both residential and commercial properties alike.
