Primarily, this sensor basin tap uses the infrared activation to ensure that users do not have to twist levers or handles on taps with wet hands. Instead, it is a case of simply sliding hands underneath the spout to activate the tap at a preset temperature. The water flow can be adjusted to run for a specific length of time, while the temperature can also be altered for users up to a maximum of 75 degrees celsius, though recommended to be at a pleasant warmth. An additional benefit of this is that with minimal contact mean less chance of germ-sharing from constant touching by many users. Having it run for a specific length of time means that taps that are left running turn off quickly, saving both water and energy usage in the process.

Suitable for both residental and commercial properties alike, this wall-mounted basin tap has vandal resistant properties, and can be fitted connected to mains power or battery powered (requires 4 x AA batteries) or both.
