Suitable for both residential and commercial bathrooms alike, it has a curved, rounded spout like a swan-neck and as a sensor basin tap, allows users to wash their hands without touching controls or levers meaning the risk of germs being transferred from user to user is minimised. It is operated by mains power or battery power using AA batteries, or a combination of both, and is activated by an LED sensor that operates the flow of water when hands are placed underneath with a response time of less than 1 second.

The temperature of the water can be adjusted to suit upto a maximum of 75 degrees celsius, although it is recommended to be at a level that is palatable to all users, and the height of which the sensor can be activated to anything less than or equal to 35cm (350mm). In terms of water saving, the tap can be adjusted to run for a period of up to 1 minute with an auto shut off valve turning water off automatically after this point. This means that water isn't kept running or left on, or enough water is released to do maintain basic hygiene. Filling a bathroom sink, if required, can be done by activating the sensor multiple times until it is filled to the required level.

This mono basin tap, manufactured from brass, is finished in a brushed stainless steel PVD coating, and is also vandal resistant and KIWA approved for additional reassurance.
