Product Information
Offering water & energy saving plus hygienic benefits, as well as practical, everyday usage, is this Crosswater MPRO Sensor Brushed Brass Monobloc Basin Tap.
Manufactured from sturdy brass, and coloured in a brushed brass PVD coating, this sensor basin tap uses infra-red activation to control the flow of the water. It works by simply the infra-red sensor recognising when a user has put their hands or item under the tap within the pre-set distance to turn it on, while an auto water shut off function is included to stop the flow after a period of time.
Everything from the temperature, up to a maximum of 75 degrees, to the length of time the water runs for - up to a maximum of 1 minute or less - and even the sensor detection distance are alterable. The latter can be adjusted to detect up to a maximum of 35cm. Benefits of these functions including being able to control how much water is used per operation, with taps not left on permanently wasting water and energy in the process. The pre-set temperature means no fiddling about with controls, and with it being entirely touchless means reduced contact and chance of cross-contamination of germs between users, making it more hygienic in the process.
Alongside this, the tap is also vandal resistant making it compatible with installation in both residental locations and heavy-usage commercial bathrooms and washrooms. It can be installed to a minimum 1 bar high pressure water systems, and is powered by a choice of mains electric, battery power (4 x AA batteries required), or a combination of both.
Modern in features as well as style, it has a rounded, cylindrical body in a mono tap design suitable for 1 tap hole bathroom sinks and a simple, arcing curved spout that reaches over the edge of the chosen bathroom sink being paired with.
