Product Information
Epitomising the latest trends in modern brassware, the Crosswater MPRO Brushed Brass 208mm Wall Mounted Basin Spout is a desirable combination of features with an eye-catching installation for both residential and commercial properties alike.
As a sensor basin tap, it has infrared activation that means that there's no fiddling about with levers or controls to operate the tap. Instead, it is a case of simply putting hands underneath the spout to operate the flow of the water for handwashing and hygiene purposes, providing the additional benefit of reducing the chances of germ-sharing with no need to touch the basin mixer tap itself and speeding up handwashing generally.
The actual functionality and operation can be adjusted with everything from the temperature of the water - up to a maximum of 75 degrees celsius (though recommended to be much lower to be comfortable for users) - to the height the sensor is activated, and even the length of time it runs for, changeable. The latter in particular is a key benefit for those looking to be more eco-conscious, as the time limit can be adjusted to anything up to or less than a minute. This means that as well as minimising water and energy usage in general, it also eliminates the concern of those notorious, pesky users who accidentally leave taps running, plus potentially flooding the bathroom, with an auto shut-off valve turning it off at the recommended timeframe.
It is also vandal resistant, and can be operated by a choice of mains power operation or batteries (requires 4 x AA 1.5v batteries), or a combination of both. Manufactured from brass, it is finished in a PVD brushed brass finish and has a smooth, rounded design, which angles downwards at the end of the spout to fill any bathroom sink it is paired with. The body has a 208mm long projection from wall to the centre of the spout for a longer reach above the basin, though this is 220mm fully to end of the spout with a 60mm diameter wall connection.
