The first control method is via the standard monobloc lever handle, which can be adjusted to control water flow and temperature manually. The second is much more high tech, taking the form of a sensor window on the tap's body that offers hands-free operation. Simply wave your hand in front of the sensor window to activate the tap's cold water flow, and repeat the motion to turn it off again. The tap also switches itself off automatically after 180 seconds, so don't worry if you forget the second part! 

This sensor control provides an efficient way to access cold water, saving energy and avoiding unnecessary strain on your boiler. Clever, eh? Just remember, the motion control activates cold water only. For hot water, simply use the side-mounted lever handle as normal.
