BC Designs 1700mm x 725mm Tin Freestanding Boat Bath

Handcrafted using traditional techniques, this beautiful tin freestanding boat bath adds timeless luxury to any period bathroom.

Copper Baths are excellent heat conductors and maintain the water temperature much longer than cast iron versions. Even after the bath has been emptied, it will remain warm to the touch. Melted tin is smoothed over the surface of the copper using a moleskin type cloth.

This bath has a hand-polished finish, which means there will be undulations and imperfections in the surface. This is part of the character of the bath and should be expected before ordering. This bath should be routinely cleaned with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth. Always dry immediately after cleaning.

Optional Painting Service:

• BC Designs can paint this bath exterior in any Farrow & Ball or Little Greene eggshell finish - please select from the option if you require this service.
• Using a roller, the bath is painted with three or more coats of your chosen colour.
• Water, fungal resistant, washable and wipeable.
• Please allow up to 30 days delivery lead time on special order painted baths.
• Please note - painted baths are a special order item. Please ensure that you have checked the paint colour before ordering, as we cannot accept returns on this basis.
